Questions

Common questions from schools.

Below are answers to questions schools often ask before getting in touch. If your situation is different, please feel free to contact Foxjin / 狐ジン directly.

What types of schools do you support?

Support is available for eikaiwa schools, children's English programs, adult conversation lessons, business English programs, and other English education settings.

Can you provide substitute teaching?

Yes. Temporary lesson support may be available for teacher absences, illness, resignations, sudden schedule changes, and other situations where coverage is needed.

Can you help during a hiring period?

Yes. Schools can contact Foxjin / 狐ジン for temporary teaching support while interviewing, trialing, selecting, and onboarding a new long-term teacher.

What areas do you serve?

Support is primarily available within Tokyo. Chiba, Saitama, and Kanagawa may also be possible depending on scheduling and location.

Can you accept same-day requests?

Same-day requests may occasionally be possible, but cannot be guaranteed. Availability depends on existing teaching commitments, travel time, and scheduling.

Can you provide next-day support?

Next-day support is often easier to arrange. If your school anticipates a staffing gap or teacher shortage, reaching out as early as possible is recommended.

Can inquiries be made in Japanese?

Yes. Japanese email inquiries are welcome. Phone communication is conducted in English, so please ensure that an English-speaking representative is available when calling.

Can we contact you before we actually need support?

Absolutely. Many schools reach out in advance so they already have a support contact available if a future staffing need arises.
